EDBE 4412 - Formal/Informal Assessment

This course will focus on the formal and informal assessment measures with an emphasis on English language development as it relates to reading and writing. You will develop a foundation of assessment theories, practices, and strategies with particular attention on how to link assessment to instructional activities. You will gain practical experience in designing, administering and interpreting assessments, with special attention to assessment instruments used in New Mexico.

Prerequisite(s): SPAN 1110 and SPAN 1120.
