ENGL 2520 - Film as Literature

The purpose of this course is to teach students how to analyze film as a visual text. Students will learn to analyze films, film techniques, eras, and genres. Students will also identify significant trends and developments in filmmaking, examining the ways in which film reflects and creates cultural trends and values.
