HUMN 2281 - Spirit of Place, Native Senses of Place

You will examine the meaning of place in your life and its particular importance to understanding Native identity and culture. You will focus on how to relate place with examples of how Native writers, poets, artists, storytellers, and other performers convey a “sense” or “spirit” of place in their work.
