HUMN 4421 - Themes in the Humanities: History, Literature, Art, and Philosophy

This seminar, taught according to the conversational method, will examine works from the humanities disciplines, such as philosophy, literature, and history. The great themes in the humanities are driven by the most fundamental needs and questions that human beings have, such as the need for meaning, and the questions “Why are we here?” and “What may be our highest hopes and aspirations?”

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1120.
