NURS 4450 - Community and Global Health I

This first of a 2-part course provides an overview of contemporary community health nursing practice. The influence of culture on healthcare beliefs and practices is emphasized. Concepts related to social determinants of health and health disparities are explored. Health problems of selected populations are examined on a local and global level.

Corequisite(s): NURS 4400 and NURS 4401, and strongly suggest NURS 4410.
