ENVS 3308 - Invasive Species

(3 CR, 3T + 0L)

You will evaluate the role and scope of introduced species as well as their impact; conduct an overview of the problem and discuss how modes of exotics spread both historically and currently, as well as discussing terminology and political impacts. You will evaluate the common characteristics of successful invasive species, epidemics and epizootics, and describe the role of invasive species and the disruption of the normal ecosystem function by exotics.
